Issuance of Sustainability-Linked Bonds

On March 6, 2025, the Company issued its first Sustainability-Linked Bonds by offering them for public subscription in the domestic market.

The CO2 emission reduction rate, a KPI for the Bonds, is an important indicator in measuring the progress of the Company’s initiatives, and the sustainability performance target (SPT) is the rate of reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1+2) in FY2028 as the Company strives to reduce such emissions during the period up to FY2030.

Through the issuance of these Bonds, the Company will make sincere efforts toward solving social issues related to climate change.

Characteristics of the Bonds If the SPT has not been achieved by the day of the evaluation, the Company will donate an amount equivalent to 0.1% of the amount of the Bonds issued to public utility foundations, public service corporations, international agencies, and NPOs certified by local governments whose purpose is environmental conservation as well as other local governments or similar organizations or purchase emission rights (CO2 emission reduction value traded as carbon credits and securities).

Formulation of the Sustainability-Linked Bond Framework

In December 2024, the Company formulated the Sustainability-Linked Bond Framework to promote various initiatives based on the TOA CORPORATION Group’s carbon neutral roadmap.

Through ESG management, the Company will advance initiatives to contribute to the development of a sustainable society while enhancing corporate value.
